In the Community

As a community-oriented organization, MLWA encourages both individuals and groups to engage in activities beneficial to improving the watershed vitality.  Opportunities to participate in dedicated projects and on-going maintenance of the public watershed areas are always available. Check out the information below regarding the types of groups and projects to which you can contribute.

Do you have an idea of your own?

To identify ways to appreciate the outdoor environment and contribute to improving and maintaining watershed health, drop us an Email from the Contact page. Tell us a how you care to participate. 
Please include the following information in you communication 
  • Name and contact information
  • Number of individuals or size of the group
  • Anticipated time commitment (i.e. one-time event, on-going weekly of monthly activity)
  • Type of activity (i.e. on-going maintenance, recurring projects, new or special projects)
  • Also, let us know if a physical accommodations will be required for you or your group
All contributions, regardless of size, are welcomed and appreciated!
